The main thing that I highlighted in my reflection, was a lot of walking. From walking to class, to the school garden, to lunch, and so on. So I began to wonder how our environment would be if everyone had to walk wherever they wanted/needed to be?
At first, I just thought that it would become overcrowded, similar to New york, littering would increase, possibly even violence, and everything would just seem like chaos and confusion. Then, on the other hand, I thought that walking everywhere could potentially make the environment better. Less wast ad toxic would be polluted into the air, people could increase their health and fitness, no one would have to pay for gas, and less money would be spent on the re-modeling and making of cars.
Although walking can be both a good and bad thing, reality is, cars and transportation are key to today's environment. However, there are other routes and methods that we can use to make the environment a lot safer, cleaner, and animal friendly.
